Now back to the story.
Did You Forget to Pack Your Personality Type?
Here’s the rub. Many of us are eager to travel, yet we don’t think about what we genuinely need. Do you know how to make your retreat getaway restorative, sumptuous, and sublime? A quick Google search, ok, there’s no, such thing as a quick Google search, but you get the idea. A scroll to see what’s trending on your favorite feed or a text message to a friend — “Hey, what’s the name of retreat you went to a few years back that you raved about?” Sound familiar? The point is we can reach out and research until we are blue in the face. What’s the point if you don’t know yourself?
Wanting to reform the world without discovering one’s true self is like trying to cover the world with leather to avoid the pain of walking on stones and thorns. Its’ much simpler to wear shoes. –– The Hindu Sage — Ramana Maharshi
You Won’t Be Able to Discover Your Favorite Wellness Treat if You’ve Not Discovered Your Personality Type
But what if your friend isn’t 100% compatible with your personality type? And seriously, what does Google know about you beyond the superficial stuff. The same could be said for your favorite Insta feed. The point is nobody knows you better than you, and nobody knows what you need better than you. So why do we consistently ignore the Who of who we really are and search elsewhere for answers? That’s a question for another time.
What is the Most Important tool In Your Spirituality Toolbox?
What if we spent an hour or two thinking about our needs, not our partners, kids, friends, our needs. Asking ourselves: what would make me over the moon happy? What does that vacation look like?
For many people, these answers don’t come easy. It’s because we don’t know what we want. Believe me; I know this to be true. Over the years, I spoke with hundreds of travelers, and 80% didn’t know themselves. Nor could they articulate what they wanted out of life. They thought they did, but their sadness, anger, and anxiety told another story.
When I questioned these travelers, the vast majority didn’t know their personality type. Trust me; it’s one of the most vital tools in our spirituality toolbox. Learning this will change your life dramatically. Your mind needs to always follow the soul. And yet, we’ve been programmed to believe the soul follows the mind. Reprogram this stinking thinking, as it’s a FALSE BELIEF.
So I have to ask, do you know your personality type?
The Mind Follows The Soul — Change This Belief, Change Your Life. — Nina Zapala, Founder of Spiritual Personality Typing
Discovering Your Personality is the Path to Wellness
So many of us believe a wellness retreat will solve our problems and take away our stress, unworthiness, and need to please … I don’t want to burst your bubble, but I probably will because I want you to figure yourself out. Don’t you want to live a big, fat, juicy extraordinary life? The life your soul has planned for you!
If you can embrace the belief that the mind serves the soul, you’ll need to release the fear that keeps your mind connected to the world of fear. When this happens, your mind will automatically leap to a higher conscious, so you’ll longer be stuck in the routine of fear, loneliness, or self-doubt.
Ok, let me make this very clear. No one at this point is adept at staying in higher consciousness 24/7. It’s not possible. We live in a dualistic world where fear reigns and seeps into our consciousness. Is it possible to shorter visits to the unconscious mind with extended stays in higher consciousness? Yes, it is. I know this to be true. I genuinely want to spread spiritual, personality-type teachings to the world. Spiritual personality typing is the path to wellness. It’s a life guide illuminating why we do and who we are. I’ve used it for a decade to untangle myself from the fear matrix –– and it works!
