What Does Your Thanksgiving Dish Say About Your Persona? is a fun iSpy with my little eye diversion for your Thanksgiving feast. I hope this post brings smiles and laughter.

A quick note: To develop and expand personality typing with a spiritual understanding, I found it necessary to introduce a spiritual personality type vocabulary. I’ve renamed each persona using a spiritual-oriented word to help each type re-know their spiritual self.

Thanksgiving Dishes for Sensory Perceptive Personality Types (SP Types)

Charming, fun, and exciting SP Thanksgiving guests or hosts believe variety is the spice of life. Whether they’re a dinner guest or hosting Thanksgiving, they’ll go above and beyond as their uber generous. They live for joie de vivre celebrations, and Thanksgiving is no exception. They’re adaptable and artistic. They’ll turn sweet potatoes into an elegant dish. Think bourbon mashed sweet potatoes, with a fluffy meringue topping versers a classic marshmallow hat-their hands-on guests who enjoy life.

Is this One of Your Favorite Thanksgiving Dishes?

Affluential Types(ESTP) — bold and theatrical, they may show up with grilled Huli Huli turkey (the recipe calls for chicken; they’ll use turkey instead), drumsticks, and wings. After enjoying Huli Huli, join them for a Hawaiian-inspired song.

Active Types (ISTP) may be busy fixing a broken electronic tool, and they’ll probably use an electric knife to carve the turkey. They’re impulsive look for them to fill their plates several times because they can. They’re soft-spoken and may show up late for dinner, as they were too busy enjoying their favorite hobby.

Energetic Types (ESFP) is the life of the party. They may only grab a small plate, as they’re too busy entertaining everyone with their great sense of humor, music skills — inspiring everyone around them to have a good time.

Aesthetic Types (ISFP) is all about flavor; they may add extra spices to the pumpkin pie, turkey, or stuffing. They go to great lengths to get it right. Look for them to have a plate or two.

Thanksgiving Dishes for Sensory Judging Personality Types (SJ Types)

For SJ types, the holidays are a special time of the year and usher in the season’s festivities in a big way. They desire to guard and protect societal traditions and are responsible ones, taking on small or large tasks and will be all in. One plate refill will be enough because they’re busy doing the thankless cleaning up everyone else passed on.

Which Dish Will You Bring?

Keeper Types (ESTJ) will have a predictable Thanksgiving meal supervising the celebration, turkey with all the stuffings, using recipes from the past. If they typically go for refills, they’ll do it again this year.

Unassuming Types (ISFJ) is likely to host a conventional Thanksgiving Day meal. They’re supportive and warm-hearted, helping a family member with a problem, and they may be too busy helping others even to eat!

Harmonious Types (ESFJ) will make sure their family and friends celebrate a bountiful traditional Thanksgiving. They may have three plates going at once because they are to be making sure everyone is having a good time.

What Dish Will You Show Up With?

Insightful Types (INFJ) is engaging and nurturing, seeing the potential in every Thanksgiving guest. They tend to be perfectionists and will probably bring a creative dish, brie cranberry turkey stuffed pastries.

Seeking Types (INFP) is the perfect one to bring peace to the Thanksgiving feast if they show up. They’re flexible, and the kitchen may be a mess, but it’s an effort to please their family and friends. They’ll show up or serve a creative new dish; turkey sliders with a stuffing biscuit.

Enthusiastic Types (ENFP) will bring a dish with a new twist to the Thanksgiving festivities, think pork sausage apple stuffing in pancetta cups. They love to try anything new, loading their plate with small samples of everything. If the host, expect a new tradition each year.

Running into problems this Thanksgiving, rely on NT types. Their solutions-oriented, intelligent, focused, and they want to know how everything works. They are inventive and bring a BOHO vibe to the Thanksgiving table. Oh, they’re uber independent, so get out of the way as they’ll whip up a Thanksgiving feast without the need of help.

Dish It Up?

Assured Types (ENTJ) will have the entire meal planned and rally family and guests (business associates?) happily taking control. Their outspoken and love being in charge, carving the turkey, and hijacking the champagne toast, aka bellinis — back for a few plates.

Resolved Types (INTJ) don’t worry if the turkey burns. These types will have a pre-made spare in the refrigerator. They may stick to a strict diet; a one-plate serving may be enough, and if you’re doing Thanksgiving trivia, pick them to be on your team, they’re walking encyclopedias.

Curious Types (ENTP) they’ll make a Thanksgiving dinner and look for inventive menu ideas, maybe a vegan version, a Thanksgiving bowl? Their lively and enthusiastic it’s how they get you to try something new.

Laidback Types (INTP) Quiet, rational, and lively conversationalists when the topic is of interest. Bohemian, by nature. They’ll seek inventive, minimalist menus to make it memorable; bohemian squash salad. They like to keep things simple, enjoying a plate or two.
